Addition or subtraction of clay, plaster and wax is my approach chosen to create form. Molten metal flowing through earth solidifies the final preservation of most objects. This parallel simulates geomorphic change; a process that reveals nature's mechanism.
Insects, flowers, fallen trees, the cosmos, the collective anatomy of the universe; these surroundings are my influence.
Space, time, evolution; these infinite dimensions characterize my design. The compositions quantify these perceptions by symbolic, metaphoric and objective abstraction.
Beneath the surface, the work offers relevant concepts, narratives which assist the erosion of apathy about the place we live. For if a historic moment is born for each observer, an opportunity is provided to recognize ones true autonomy that guards it, and contributes in preserving our habitat. This is my aspiration.
